I’ve been feeling a little discouraged these last few weeks. I’ve been so disciplined over the years, but with all the changes in the last 3 months, I’ve had a hard time maintaining my discipline. I need a kick in the inspirational butt.

I’ve writing this blog since early January. Looking back to all my past blogs, and I found some inspiration in them. My first blog reminded me why I started my Ambassador journey, and I found a few words that inspired me to continue doing my hard work.

Week #1 – “So, why would I put myself in a position where I share my weight and stats with you and be under this weekly scrutiny? I’m doing these things anyway, so if I can inspire just one person to make a change in their life, then scrutiny is worth it.”

Week #2 – first TMR ambassador workout

Super hard!! Face was a red as my shirt!

Looking Back

Week #5 Sometimes it feels like one step forward, and two steps back…

I put on weight after weeks of hard work?? It was just 3 pounds, but felt like failure was on the horizon…

Week #6 Weight gain explained, but Joseph to the rescue to explain why I experienced weight gain –

In brief, the weight gain is due to water. It has to do with glucose being converted to fuel the muscles uses called glycogen. It takes 3 molecules of water for every molecule of glycogen. As your body gets used to what you are doing, the body retains extra water to manage this process. Once the body adjusts to all the hard work, it stops retaining the water, and then you see the weight loss. It’s a lot technical jargon, but main message is “don’t give up, keep working at it!!”

Week #13 – The Re-Test Results Are In!

The Motion Room Results System really works. All it takes is a great plan put together by The Motion Room, the trainers guidance and the most important part of the formula is all the effort YOU put into it.

Week #19 Plan your workout into your schedule – don’t just fit them in

Week #20 Over Doing It?

I did the 75KM bike ride for Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the next weekend, I did the 200KM bike ride for the Ride to Conquer Cancer. My mom died at the age of 54 from a heart attack, and my dad died at the age of 59 from cancer. It took a lot of hard work to do two weekends of cycling, but so worth it because the money raised may prevent other families from losing loved ones too early.

Week #23 You Can Do It!

Why do I work out? Because I “should” or because I “could” change my life. Should is limiting. It means that it’s not my choice. But if I use the thought of “could” then it puts the control in my hands. Could is powerful because it means I made the choice.

Week #29 Via Twitter – Inspirational Quotes (@Inspired_Ones)

“If it is important enough to you, you will find a way. If it is not, you will find an excuse.”

Week #31 Can Fit Pro

““Every ceiling achieved is a new floor”. Aldous Huxley. When you reach a goal, it’s time to set a new one and make your way to the top again. Never stop striving to reach the ceiling.

Week #36 – motivational pictures

My favourite –

N2

“Turn impossible into “I’m possible and see what happens!”.

Week #39 “It’s okay if you try and fail, but it’s not okay if you fail to try.”

@women_fit today

Sometimes you need to look back to see that you are going in the right direction.

And if you find you are off track, then make a new plan, and keep going forward. Don’t let a setback set you back. Going over my weeks of blogs has given me some inspiration all over again.

Have a great week!
